I've got an earlier model of D-Link's wireless media server (DSM-320RD) and sending audio and video (network & internet) is a great concept. I send all my DVD-ripped & downloaded movies, digital pics, and mp3s wirelessly to my TV. I also stream internet video (youtube, cnet, etc.) and audio (internet radio). All controlled via remote control. And this model allows for HD video. This model has a USB port which, according to the listing, allows you to play your media off of a USB flash drive (my model has a USB port, but it's only used during initial setup
). My model has its share of bugs, but I got it a great price like this one, which makes the bugs tolerable. And this is a newer model, so I can only hope it has less bugs than mine. I used to use a wireless audio/video sender to send from my PC to my TV, but using a media server is oh so much nicer!
Here's the link to the D-Link website for more info/specs on this item than CC provides. It looks like it has HDMI and composite video connections (doesn't look like it has RCA outputs).
Although all of these wireless media servers suggest using a wired Ethernet connection for best video streaming, I don't have a wired connection and have few problems using wireless G.
