Not bad. The 8 GB drive that's been <$20 several times lately will probably keep a lot of people from thinking this deal is any good, but in fairness, that involved a $20 rebate, and this one is for only $5.

Yeah, I've seen that, but I saw another post about a Verbatim 4GB Flash Drive for $19.99 and responded to that with this deal so I thought I'd put this deal in a separate post.

I actually have this Corsair drive and it's fast, sturdy and reliable. I got it from Newegg in June for $9.99 w/FS (I believe in one of those "special" 1 day promotions (forget the name).

How does the encryption work? I Just got one of these 8GB from Newegg, but it doesnt appear to have any special encryption mechanism.
