Hit the Costco in brentwood Tn today, and picked up a copy of windows live one care. 14.99 regularly 39.99

coverage for upto 3 pc's

I don't think that it is a cold deal.
I have taken advantage of the Costco deal before.
$15.00 for three PCs for one year is OK in my book.

The one thing I don't like about this software is that it remains in a permanant "Warning" state if you've got competing software like AdAware installed, and it suggests you uninstall it. No one tool is ideal for catching all threats ... and for them to tell you to uninstall a competitor for the sake of safety is misleading and probably anti-competitive. So instead you wind up with a constant red icon not knowing whether your system is endangered due to an actual threat ... or because you've actually gone the extra mile and added additional protection.

Does anyone know how to tell OneCare to ignore stuff like that?

my last year subscription that I got at Costco for $5 is running out

I guess I have to delete and reinstall the new one
