Probably a good thing for price matching.
You mentioned its $199 price in store; so did someone had override the price for you?
Wow, I think they meant 199.99. Nice deal if you got it, actually amazing deal
I'll take 3
Too bad no Fry's close enough, and they'll prob post the correction soon in stores
GL!
Yes at one store they had to over ride computer. At other store FV had $119 in computer no problem at all for a friend.
Dave
A "YMMV" in the title would be appropriate.
same thing on san jose mercury says $199.99
link
OCRegister.com has it for $199.
Sounds like an LATimes price mistake. Best Buy is good at PMs.
Glad there are a couple close, have to see if it works.
Look it up..Best Buy has the Clearence Simple Tech 1TB for $160.00 in some areas and the BesyBuy coupons work with this because it's External.. I picked one up for my DVR..
Works great...It's a WD Engerystar Drive...got 12% off the $160.00
If you find the thread some Best Buys have it cheaper.. Got an MX-1 Antec enclosure..
Lots of space to save movies and shows and Football !!
$119 is a great price if you get one from Fry's no Frys around here..
PMed at 2 Best Buys in OC. One was easy peasy, the other one was just lame. Had to go to another register to have it PMed and the girl that sent me to the other register came over and approved it. Seemed odd to send me to another register when they can PM at any register. Oh, and the guy in front of me couldn't pay for something with cash. That was funny!
Going to give this a go tomorrow morning. Thanks for pointing this out, didn't check the paper today!
$199 in DFW area ![]()
OP, you may want to change your title to reflect that this is an "external" drive and not a "portable" one - when referring to "portable drives," one is generally talking about a smaller 2.5" USB-powered drive, not a larger 3.5" drive that requires an external power supply like this WD 1tb drive. Thanks.
Heck of a deal if you can get it, though.
link doesnt work...
