This promotion is on through August. It is a pain, you need to sign up for the rebate program and then mail in gas receipts for 20 months. You need to choose your gas station company when you sign up, but it has all the big ones and others like wal mart, citgo… The gas receipts must be for at least $100 per month (I wish that was a problem, but for me it is easy, you can use spouses car as well if you sip gas). When I went in NTB would also still negotiated on price by reducing the junk fees of tire disposal and life time balance.

The simplest way to do this is fill out 20 envelopes, keep them in your car and then when you hit the $100 each month send in the envelope.

I didn't see this promotion on the web sight so not sure if it is national, it is on the radio in Atlanta.

My brother-in-law tried this promotion when it was available in Cincinnati. He's like a pit bull and has called them every week for the past 3 months to check on the status of his first $25 rebate. They've given him every excuse in the book -- problems with the mailings, participating gas companies not redeeming the rebates properly, etc.

His rebates were $25 every month for 20 months. Are you sure that it is one every week? I guess it doesn't matter if you never receive any...

I kidded him when he bought the tires that I hoped he got a good deal on the tires, because he'd probably never see the gas rebates. He sheepishly said last week that it looks like he's been scammed.
