I actually bought a demo model of the black cuisinart for $33 from Bed Bath and Beyond a month ago. It works well. I imagine a remanufactured one may be even better and at a better price since they at least checked it over and made sure any missing parts were included (as opposed to the "as-is" i bought).

I would recommend this for someone looking for a good coffee machine at a cheap price. I think it retails at $70. Of course, it is probably not optimal in terms of brew temperature for those who are after the perfect brew (200+ degrees). But it does the job and for the price it is a good buy.

This one is white and not refurb.

I won't buy a white one anymore.
After a year or two, the aromatic stea, wafting up from the coffee grounds
ends-up putting brown stains the machine. UGLY
