EVGA 8800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI-e 119.99 AR AC FS Newegg Archived From: Hot Deals |
Better cooling, but what about the 3yr Asus Warranty vs Lifetime of EVGA?
Yes, but only the Asus model releases an April-fresh scent every time you boot up. ![]()
Good point re/ the warranty, although not an issue for me personally since 1) I almost never hang onto a video card past three years, and 2)I have four 8800GT's sitting here unopened at the moment, won't be buying any more real soon. I think you could do well with either of these cards. Too bad neither one comes with a free game to sweeten the deal further.
The title should be PCI-e, not PCI-X which is completely different (using mainly in server MBs)

Do you REALLY expect him to know the difference he is a TeaSip. He doesn't even know enough to correct the title.
Another reference-design 8800 GT card at Newegg for $119 shipped: this PNY card. Comes with free game too (Frontlines: Fuel of War).
