Good deal. Now I only wish I could find a decent deal on this phone with a renewal of my contract.

this is a pretty good deal. Why the red rating?

I have no idea why people are redding this. The codes still works. If it were Nov 5th, I would be all over this. This is the best price yet on this phone, and you get a charger and a nice BT headset for free. I can't wait for the 2-year contract nay-sayers - show me another deal where you can get a $500+ phone unlocked for free. Great post OP.

They are probably redding it because of the mandatory $30 PDA data plan. $70+ a month is more than some want to spend on a phone, especially when it has wifi which lets you surf for free at many places.

Naahh... there are a bunch who will red anything without giving any reason. Few days back I posted a free LG touch screen phone deal WITHOUT any data plan. Got may reds without any assigned reason, till some sensible folks gave it green. Those jokers will red any posting which THEY are not looking for or suit their own personal preference(yet find the time to visit the thread and red it!). Or some deals they got last black friday almost a year back!
Ignore those pessimists, OP.

yeah the tytn II with sero is pretty cool. just open IE, turn on wifi, run WMwifirouter , connect pc to the phone using wifi (11mb) and get whatever speed you can get out of it

i use this when folks need to access the internet on their laptops and i do not let visitors use our extranet at all. never know what might be lurking only takes 30 minutes to put a dent in your ip pool if they are an email bot'd boxen.

You could, but if you are not in a 3G area you are going to be less than impressed with the speeds. Get a 14.95/month DSL if you're worried about price.

repped for this slick deal

I eventually decided to get this last night, but do not feel good about LetsTalk service.
From the fine print, this 181 day requirement only applies to 39.99 plan.
Maybe we can remove $30 data plan after we get the phone?
I have no idea how this works: I am a college student and eligiable for 20% FAN discount.
Do we have to deal with LetsTalk, or AT&T CS to apply this discount?

Anyone helps please
So nervous about this company (LetsTalk), bad reviews on them.
Thanks all

Beet

This deal has gotten hotter now as they have now removed the requirement for the PDA plan!

Just ordered 2 Tilts for $0 out of the door with the $59.99 (AT&T Family Talk Nation 550 w/Rollover) plan. Also included 2 1GB microSD cards free + $25 credit from leading online entertainment providers! + free shipping!

ATT Tilt @LetsTalk

Also don't forget FW CashBack ($35.33 per service agreement/plan)

This is the best deal I have seen on this great phone...
