Go easy - first deal post. Costco is selling VIZIO 32" Plasmas for $499. Seems like a deal for a cheap TV if you're looking for something in the 32" range.

Probably because it's not a plasma. It's an LCD. Link

For your information, Vizio does make a 32" plasma. Also, all items sold in Costco b/m are not necessarily always sold online, and vice versa.

confirmed, bought one in garden grove, CA yesterday.
32'
LCD = $529 (newer model is $599)
PLASMA = $499 (model VP322 HDTV 10A)

And they just knocked the 37" down to $699

Vizio 37"

Sam's Club has the same one at $678, but might not be worth it from them...

Great price breaks on Vizio LCD in the last couple days!

Ended up picking one of these up today. Nice set, nice price. Only beef is no dedicated sleep button on remote, need to go through menu. Not really a problem other than we're using this in the bedroom where a button would have been nice. Otherwise, lots of inputs, easy navigation, I still think a plasma looks better than an LCD, so I'm happy

does the plasma have a flat or glossy screen?

if it's flat, i would get that before the lcd, just to not have to worry about dead pixels in the future.

You should not use a Plasma as a computer monitor. The chance of having image retention and burn-in with a Plasma is greatly increased due to a lot of static images from a computer.

Not to TC, but Sansui and Vizio make garbage, IMO. I've yet to see a decent picture quality on any Vizio.

Does Directv remote recognize Vizio? My problem with Olevia is direct tv remote does not recognize it and I have to use another remote for it.
