Hey Rybolt, sorry to hear yours was cancelled. I got an email saying they were out of stock and would not ship unless they got more in the next 30 days. I figured that was the death knell and broke the news to my better half. Then two nights ago (Tuesday) I got an email stating it had shipped. To our surprise and delight, it arrived yesterday and looks great (haven't plugged it in yet). So who knows, maybe you will still get one.

Good luck!

Hey Christmas,

Did you get the full kit accessories - mini turbine tool, floor tool, and spare filter (this was missing from my box)

Thanks

Wife says no. Should we have? Even without, she is happy, which is a good thing!

Thanks

Yes, thats what makes it the "Full-Kit" otherwise, its just a DC14 with white color instead of yellow.

This is a bit mis-leading by both Dyson and Fry's IMO - on Fry's website it said "accessory kit included". They are saying that this is the standard on-board tools.

Still a good deal though... and this thing cleans awesome!!

I see. Thanks for the enlightenment. Believe it or not, my wife now has 2 DC14's. She used the first downstairs and used a different brand upstairs. She loved the first Dyson, so I thought I'd get her a second for about 206 dollars. She was and remains very pleased.

Christmas, you should call Dyson and ask for the full-kit parts.

It was hit and miss... the first CSR said NO on refurbs, the second one said no prob and mailed em out to me.

The mini-turbine is awesome and sells for $70.00 + the hard floor tool (nothing special) and an extra filter

Hey sailmaster1955, thanks! At first they said no, these don't come with refurbs. After some further discussion they said they'd have to talk with a manager and I'd have to call them back. Just got off the second phone call, and the parts are coming within 10 business days! What a great deal!
You have set a great example for contributors to this site. Thanks again.

I called them today for a full kit and it is a NO GO. Will try again next week. Hopefully will deal with a nicer CSR.

I got the full kit yesterday from Frys and it had no accessories. I called Dyson and they said the refurbished ones dont come with them. Do I not need to tell them that it came from Frys or something?
