I refuse to try this since it's a blatant rip off of Chick-fil-a. My wife did try it and it was so bad she had to return it. McFail!!!

I bet if you took this coupon to Chick-fil-a they would honer it FTW!

I don't think that anybody at McDonald's will read small print

I have requested that this deal be moved to the "Free Stuff" forum.

IMO it is not free. I generally pick up McDonald's and eat it at home so I don't buy their drinks. The "free" sandwich requires that you buy a medium drink - therefor it is not free - just a "hot deal".

1) You are so right about the Chick-Fil-A rip-off!
2) I bet taking the coupon to Chick-Fil-A would work. They are always very cool about coupons.

Note: it's not "free", it's "Mcdonaldsfree". Evidently they have their own little McUniverse.

Really, it should say free with drink purchase.

While it is a chicken sandwich similar to what Chick-Fil-A serves, come on dude. It's a piece of fried chicken on a roll with a pickle on top. I grew up eating crap like this before I even knew Chick-Fil-A existed. That's like saying you're not going to eat at Quiznos because they blatently ripped off the idea of putting meat and cheese on bread from Subway.

Another comment on these sandwiches.....TERRIBLE!! I got in on the last free deal and when I bit into it, I thought it was a Fillet O' Fish at first. And I hate those fish sandwiches. I looked at what was between the buns and even though it wasn't fish, I am not sure if could be described as chicken either.

I am a big fan of the Chick-Fil-A sandwich. Much respect....but why oh why do they have to be closed on Sunday?!

Because they are privately held, controlled by the family of the Christian founder who didn't want to open on Sundays.

Agree one hundred percent. Free is free. Not buying high priced cokes or fries of anything
else. One of my first advertising clients was "Burger Chef". I cut a lot of commercials for
them and they actually did give you a free decent sized burger for just coming in. Maybe they
gave away too many because I think they are extinct now.
