q6600 is 190 at Newegg. one can find 4g memory around $60 easily. so, who is willing to spend $150 to buy a out of date chipest with some problem.
i have the 680i..and EVGA confirmed that it does not support the Yorkfield cores.

you can find 2GB sticks @ 800 Mhz for 30 bucks?
If you can you might be able to find cheaper RAM but as an all in one package I thought this was pretty good *shrug*
Also as far as Yorkfield incompatibility, you do realize this is a Kentsfield Core?
