OneCall is a perfectly reliable company, but refurbished products (even if labeled "factory renewed") pretty clearly aren't covered by the rebate.

I had a bait-n-switch pulled on me for the same radio about a year ago (they tried to cram me with an inferior product and made my life a living hell trying to get credit for their bogus "sale"--the onus was clearly on me to resolve it and I'd done nothing wrong.)!

That was with a now defunct company called www.dailyswag.com. I wouldn't be surprised if they've reopened under another name, so do your homework.

These folks might be totally legit--this is just a heads up. AS ALWAYS, check these types of outfits out before bucking up!

I got stung on that one too. The price was decent for the regular recepter, but they were taking them back no-questions-asked by the time my landed on my doorstep.

Indeed as stated in the posts above, OneCall is very much legit and are known for excellent CS.

I bought the Ratshack new one last month at 129 minus 10 Entertainment Coupon for 119 and just got my $50 rebate check. They only had two in my area, a great deal on this radio if you can find it.

If you get one, the bass is overwhelming if near a wall, but that can be fixed by stuffing or taping the bass port in the back.
