It would be nice if this was a charcoal grill.

Q's are probably the best grill in existence - solid cast iron grate and simplicity of the way it's made - and doubt charcoal would do any good to this grill - good luck!

"Q" grills are just right for a couple or small family. With a little planning, even a large crowd can be served. I have the 220 model which is similar to this but only has one burner. It Sears meat and controls temps better than any grill I've ever owned.

The beauty of the 320 is that is has dual burners which allows for easier, not better, but easier indirect cooking. With mine, I have to place the meat on a rack slightly elevated over the grate. Foil is placed on the grate to deflect some of the heat. With the 320, you only need to move the food over to a low or off burner. Both models come standard with porcelan covered cast iron grates which I prefer over stainless.

All "Q" grills are portable and mine is easy to transport simply by removing it from its stand (I highly recommend a stand for these grills) and take it wherever I want to go. All I have to do when I get to the campsite or wherever, is hook it up to a small, portable propane bottle - easy as can be. These things are easy on gas and last a long time, even when using a small bottle of LP.

Unless you always cook for large groups (over 10 people), the Weber "Q" grills are the most efficient and practical way to go.

Thanks OP! I bought one of these last week at the regular price and just called Amazon for my $60 price adjustment.

It is a great grill, I had a Q100 for years and decided to step up to the Q320 at our new home. It is much larger and the indirect grilling of the 320 is very nice. I love these Q's for a small family instead of those huge grills.

Thanks a bunch! I bought a home and was looking for a grill.

This was a good deal considering after tax Home Depot and Sears would have be $399.

It would also be nice if you would post something useful for a change.

I got my Q-320 (not from this deal) a few days ago.

If you are a grilled pizza snob, then you should know that this makes outstanding grilled pizza. Cast iron grill (porcelain covered) allowed for great grill marks and a really nice, crisp crust. And yes, grill area is big enough for a pizza and can fit my pizza stone if you prefer to do it that way.

I also think this grill is a lot easier to clean than the Weber Spirit and Genesis lines (and definitely the Sears crap Kenmores).

A brass bristle brush easily cleans the grills. The interior of the grill body just requires a quick wipedown - no grease or crap sticks to it.

Because of the way the grill racks are designed, the burners themselves are spared from any drippings.

It rocks.

Can anyone explain why this is a good deal? I thought stainless grills were better as they did not rust to dust.

If the exterior is stainless steel that can be a good thing or a bad one, depending on the quality of the steel used. If you keep a grill under a good cover even other materials will last a long time. Stainless is tought to clean and shows marks, even the top quality steel. If you leave it out in the open then steel is your best choice.

If it is the grates you are talking about, the coated cast iron is my favorite because it gives the best sear marks on meat (I like that a lot) and has better heat retention. Open the lid for a few seconds to turn your food for example and the steel looses more heat than the cast iron. Not by a whole lot so it is no big deal but it is a factor. Steel grates are easier to clean. There are pluses and minus to each kind of material and it all depends on what you like and what is important to you. I can tell you this, stainless anything will be much more expensive.
