Thanks, OP. I was in the market for a printer that can take cheap ink. The link below the printer shows a black cartridge costing $24 and each color cartridge costing $13. Where do you get these cheap ink tanks for this printer, set of 4 for $10?

Thanks.

You can get ink at Meritline for $1.99 per cartridge with free shipping when bought in 10 packs(4 black, 2 color).
Check it out:
10-Pack Compatible Inkjet Cartridge Combo for Brother MFC-240/440CN/665CW/845CW/5460CN/5860CN Printers: Four LC51 BK, Two Each of LC51 C/M/Y, Free Ground Shipping! (Continental USA Only) [4/137-092 + 2/137-093 + 2/137-094 + 2/137-095]

You also can get double capacity ink at Meritline for $1.99 when bought in 10 packs(4 black, 2 color).. I'm waiting for a free shipping code on these because it adds $10.39 S$H charge to my order for a $3/per cartridge cost. A good deal for double ink.

as far as I know, NO printers from MFG come with connect cable

If the printer takes USB drives and memory cards, would you still need to have it connected to the PC, to print stuff? Wouldn't I be able to print without connecting to the computer (avoiding the cable)? This may seem like a dumb question; but I have no experience with printers. Sorry about that, and thanks.
