The 2006 version GPS is NOT as good as 2007 and 2008 version.

Microsoft announced its updated Microsoft Streets and Trips 2007, adding improved GPS locator hardware by Pharos to the package. The company says the GPS device (for 2007 version) now uses SiRF star III technology that's 10 times more sensitive than the GPS device included with the Streets and Trips 2006 version.

wow.....your post was just in time for me to save another 12%.
I believe the GPS for 2006 version is not as good as 2007 and 2008 version. If they have 2007 version with GPS for this price, then it is great deal. Not for the 2006 version which the GPS is not as good and out of date map.

Can this be used with Blackberry Curve 8320 (T-Mobile) ?
EDIT: Seems 8320 only works with bluetooth receivers ![]()

You can get a Water-Proof USB Mouse GPS Receiver - SiRF Star III(WAAS Enabled) which is 10 times more sensitive than the MS 2006 S&T GPS and also has Mouse feature for just $4 more + $5 shipping.
The same site also have Bluetooth GPS receivers and GPS Data Logger for a bit more if you want those features.
any car inverter deals to go with this ![]()
$30 for just map is not bad. Anyone uses it on ATT Tilt (it has build-in receier)?

If you're planning on using this on a Windows Mobile device with a data connection, then purchasing this is irrelevant. Pocket Streets (which is packaged in this version of Streets & Trips) was deprecated...Microsoft is no longer developing it. It's been replaced by "Live Search for Windows Mobile", which is free. However, if you don't have a data connection, then Pocket Streets is probably the cheapest offline mapping app that you can get for your device (but it won't do driving directions...just finding locations on a map).

It shows $33.95/EA , not $3.95 !?
It's a good deal but you can get all out GPS systems on same website for under $100. Why buy a complicated software?
