Duracell Coppertop AA Cell Alkaline with expiration of 2013 were $1.92 at a Target. This was cheaper than the smaller packs!

They were price checked and bought a few packages. (Haven't had much luck with rechargables.)

I was originally looking for those that said digital use, but from what I hear it makes really no difference if it says digital or not on the package - an alkaline battery is an alkaline.

The Target product number is 057060185

I stopped by Wal-Mart and the price was 4.88 which is more than double

Where did you find them? Were they in electronics?

I have 2 kids -- we go thru batteries all the time!

True, but they would affect where you would find them.

I know the location doesn't affect the price .. just
knowing which department to start looking in would be
helpful. The Target where I live has batteries in
different places all over the store.

Anyhoo .. thanks to telflonmail for the heads up on
the price!

There were a half dozen packs on the end cap near flashlights. All but one sold at $3.84

Also can use .75 manufacture coupons so extra savings.

My Target only stocks them in 10, 16 and 24 packs.
