Once I check in, I get the following message in my cart.* You are not eligible for this coupon, or you have already used it. The coupon will be removed from your basket.

Has anyone used this coupon more than once? whizkid7 said the coupon has a maximum value of $20 off and I have several items that I can split into two orders to maximize my discount. Anyone know of a coupon for free shipping? Can this be combined with the FatCash? Looks like maybe I could purchase a gift certificate with the 1% FatCash and then use that for my purchase. How long does it take for the gift certificates to be e-mailed out?

Tried it on FOUR different Buy.com account---big "no go" on all of them.

Good luck.

clear out your cookies with everything that has Buy.com, and look for Buy.com cookies that starts with other letters.

email addresses can be a problem, but not much since this coupon isn't limited to new customers.

Cleared the cookies, but still no go. Must be limited to the accounts that got the email or new accounts.

Can you change the title to something normal and descriptive? And maybe add YMMV or 'account specific'?

Darn, I got all the way to the "submit order" page...then it removed the coupon and told me to start over.

Does 8% off really warrant +36 green? Even ignoring the Buy.com hate / love pissing match, 8% really doesn't qualify as a "hot deal".

You have been here since 2004 and you don't know? A lot of people got screwed on a $200 rebate offered on a HannSpree LCD TV that was sold via Buy.com They left everyone holding the bag when other more reputable companies have stepped up and taken care of their customers. Buy.com is fine is long as there is not problem and you don't need to contact them.

With this coupon you will only get 92% reemed by Buy.com.

For clarification, my feelings are exactly the same as rushhound's. Buy.com is fine unless you need their customer service. They need to learn how to treat customers right like Newegg.

I do not agree...in fact I posted a T-Shirt deal and it went in the - range as some said they liked Amazon better and they had the same deal. In my case Buy.com and Amazon have CS in India...or at least it sounded that way. TWO years ago I had a $10 rebate offer since I did not want a magazine. Just a few weeks ago I noticed I never got it (strange as we always track these things) and sent Buy.com an email showing my original order from June 2006. After a week, they said they were sorry and issued a credit to my Credit Card. I can not ask for any more than that.

Wow! You got $10 whole dollars back from them and loads of us were screwed out of $200 via them. Sure that $10 you got back balances all that out! For the record they screwed me on the $10 magazine deal as well!
