The faster processor and gigabit LAN makes it a worthwhile upgrade. You'll still have to increase memory (XP Pro is a SLUG with 512MB) and perhaps add a slim-factor DVD writer or an external DVD writer to have a really useful computer. Also understand that you do NOT get Windows media, just a preinstall. However, any Dell OEM XP cdrom can be used to install Windows on one of these boxes.

Surplus Computers also has the same box for just $70 without memory and hard drive. If you are going to upgrade the memory and hard drive anyway, and have a Dell OEM cdrom available (Windows XP Pro COA is on the case, so this is legit), you can save a few $$$ by getting this barebones.
