I think its a mistake - $400 off the TV - they say in the ad $400 on installed tvs - but it allows you to add to the cart and check out without adding the install - this could be YMMV but worth a shot - great price for 50" Plasma TV

Pretty good if you ask me. Nice find OP

Samsung's HD modeling display screen looks like the opening to an antiperspirant commercial.

This TV is actually on sale right now even cheaper at Fry's: Linky $1047 with free shipping.

I personally just purchased the A550 from Fry's for $1499 also shipped free because I wanted the 1080p.

Or you could purchase this same TV at Amazon (B0015AV3XM) for $1199 without tax. No need to hassle with Fry's or CircuitCity representatives/lines.

Sears B&M has been selling the Samsung PN50A450 and the Panasonic 50PX80U for $1099 for several weeks, plus just about every week they have a 10% off offer when using a Sears credit card, making the price $990.

I went to Sears to buy a big TV and fridge. First I went to electronics and gave the Sears sales guy a copy of my potential order from BestBuy.com of fridge and TV and asked for a price match on the identical TV. He said yes, and said if I buy the fridge at Sears first, I would receive free delivery on the TV. So I did the fridge purchase first (I picked a Kenmore fridge, so no pricematch for the fridge), but when I came back to buy the TV, the manager said NO to the price match on the TV. In fact, the manager's exact words were, "no dealio". Very professional.

This would have been a big purchase.

Nevermind. Buying things on the internet is more hassle free, tax free, and more likely to have free shipping than local stores. (However, I always buy groceries in person at the store because flirting with the cute cashiers is the highlight of my week.

RIP
