I am not sure if you have a Frys near you if you could go to the store to return it or exchange...
I just bought the 40" 550 a week ago and we compared it to a 40" Sony very close feature wise and we went with the Samsung. The Sony averaged $200 more and the 550 picture is fantastic ! Very happy and SD picture is great and HD unbelievable.
