My first post on this site, so go easy.

Got my monthly promotion forwarded to me for Sprint thru my company. Deals below again are for NEW LINES only and activation fees apply. This deal is only available by calling 877.263.5720 and asking for the "RX Promo". I'm pretty sure Sprint requires utilizing one of the Everything Plans or shared plans with data.

HTC Touch Diamond
$49.99 + tax - Out of pocket (No Rebate Required)

HTC Touch Pro
$129.99 + tax - Out of pocket (No Rebate Required)

Palm Treo 800w
$129.99 + tax - Out of pocket (No Rebate Required)

Blackberry Curve
$49.99 + tax - Out of pocket- (No Rebate Required)

HTC PPC Mogul
$149.99 + tax Out of pocket (No Rebate Required)

Samsung Instinct
$49.99 + tax - Out of pocket (No Rebate Required)

This is a Sprint dealer handling my company's phones and not Sprint's telesales call center. The email I received says the offer ends on 12/31/08 so good luck and I hope it works for you.

Hey guys, it's a new member but that's no reason for red. Have you tried the deal yet? There's no commission links or anything, so as long as it's valid this is a great deal. Each of those phones are at least $100 off of normal prices. $30 for an HTC Touch or Instinct is pretty hot (even though you gotta go with Sprint :/)

Thanks OP. Green for you.

I like the prices. Might give them a call to see if I can score the new Treo at a sweet price!

Would this work if i just wanted to get a new phone and resign my contract

I would go with the instinct, pretty cool.

This is REALLY cheap esp considering no rebates, wow!

um sorry if it sounds dumb but wheres the curve?

I just updated my OP with pricing on the Curve. I'll try to post both sides of the flyer when I get my scanner fixed.

Has anyone gotten this to go through by renewing a 2-year agreement on an existing 2-phone shared retenion plan?
I am out of contract and have been shopping phones. Was awaiting the new HTC phones in Oct. but I might bite on 2 800W or 2 Instincts, or both. My guess is I wouldn't be able to use this, but curious if anyone else has?

I called and the agent say it wont work for existing number. He try for a times and it reject the promo code. Damn

Any idea if this would work with a SERO sign up? Or is it pretty much one or the other?...I'm currently on Tmobile lookin to switch over to sprint.

How were you able to get the Instinct for 99 cents? Were you able to keep your number?

You can just mention your 'buddy' got it for 99 cents and they will reduce it to that price. Thats what I did and the promo is still on as of today!

I asked them how long they anticipate this offer, he said probably for another two weeks. The Instinct is 99 cents and today, so is the Curve! Go to http://www.rx.sprintshops.com and register as an employee. Then you can see all the plans and phones they have available.

P.S. You have to pay the line activation of $35. No big deal when you are getting the phone for free.

Hopefully the HTC Diamond will show up before this ends

Ummm....has anybody had any luck with this? It seems the site is now "under construction".....

Are the prices still good with the RX Promo, the prices at the rx web link are higher.

Call the 800 number, I got 5 instincts on family plan for .99 cents each, yesterday.

how long is the contract? promotion still valid ?

Can you port your number?

Yes. And I'm just told this promo is continued for another month!

I am just wondering if contract extension is a option.

Has anyone actually gotten a phone with this deal yet?

I did, 5 instincts for 99 cents each. Billing statement yet to come.

how were you able to get instinct for 99 cents. were you able to port your number? what kind of rate plan are you on? also, does this offer only apply to certain company's employees only? i know it is a lot of questions, but it will really help out here. thx

Well, called the above mentioned number, said I'm interested in the 'RxPromo'. They dont ask anymore questions about your company. I talked to Mike on extension 1108, he is very very professional. Told him I came to know somebody got his instinct for 99 cents (btw I was going to buy it for $29 too). He said no problem.
Got family plan of 5 phones. We are porting 3 numbers and keeping the other two.
First two for $129.99/mon (required) and addittional 3 phones for $19.99/mo each.
Now add the 18% off/mo it comes down to $155/mo before taxes. Not bad for TV, internet, GPS, radio, email, unlimited texting, nights at 7pm and 1500 shared minutes.
I asked him that sprint offers 25% off/mo bill to my other part time job (it does) and he said to wait a couple months so everything is in the system and then call regular sprint number to change it from 18% to 25% (I hope that works).
Mike also said they are extending the promo for another couple or more weeks so if I've friends that are interested, they can call, he didn't mention anything about the company name etc.
I did have to pay $36 each line activation fee just like any other company. One thing I liked was that he wasn't pushy or trying to sell other stuff.
Hope it helps.

thanks a lot for the detailed step-by-step response! this is why i love fatwallet

I just called to add a line of service to my SERO account and was told the rxpromo is only good for brand new customer accounts - not new lines of service. The discounted price on the Diamond is the same as on the sprint website, $249.99.

If it's $250 out of pocket, then it is a good price. Sprint's price is after rebate. You can send in the sprint rebate and see if you can get the $100 off to make it $150.

^ that would be hot if the rebate still works

How long did the shipping take when you purchased the Instinct phones?

I just got an updated email about this promo...they now have the HTC Touch Diamond Pro as well.

Prices in the email (note...there are no rebates required):

HTC Touch Diamond - $49.99
Blackberry Curve - $0.99
HTC Touch Diamond Pro - $129.99
Samsung Instinct - $0.99
Blackberry Pearl - $0.00

The Diamond is 49.99? by calling them directly??

Sucks-- I am SERO - out of contract but keep my Sero plan for life (according to Sprint) but I can't xfer it to one of these fones. Life is not fair for 39.99 a month.

Any word on whether the 8830 is on special too?

I don't have a Sprint account but family members do. Can I sign up for a new account and then merge it with our existing accounts a few months down the line?

I just chatted with Heath at sprintshops.com to see if I could get my company's 20% discount with the Touch Pro for $129. He informed me that with the "deals" discount, only the 18% service discount applied. With my corporate discount, the Touch Pro was $299. He also stated I _should_ be able to change it after 60 days but that it is frowned upon. I suspect this would restart the 2yr contract.

This makes me feel safer giving my personal info as if it were a scam, I think they would have promised anything.

Many scams sound too good to be true and rely on greed. This definitely qualifies on both.
My greed and wariness are still battling though.

Anyone lately been able to purchase phone through them? I have a single line phone plan and I wanted to go to a family plan 2 phones with more minutes.. they said they were not able to verify me and cancelled my order. This was through JR. I would of thought already have service through them they would let me upgrade.
