But this time available at least in the St. Louis, MO area. There is a $1.99 or $2.99 activation fee, but then it's free til the end of the year. Then, it automatically deactivates- it was promised that they wouldn't just add it to the bill at the end of the year.
I don't know how wide spread it is, but when I talked with the CSR guy last night he said he would take a guess at my location and guessed California. At any rate, he hadn't heard of the deal but looked it up and it's valid.
I live in STL, and this just worked for me. Green for you!
P.S. I got no activation fee, so others try to get that waived.

This should be valid in the LA Market (Southern California) as I see the commercials for the free Premiums running all the time. It says free bonus for just being a Charter customer until the end of the year. I can't say if it's for all areas Charter has service as their billing has different sets of freebies allowed for that area. Be careful if you already are on a promo that that continues, sometimes adding another promo code may break the promo package you are already on. The billing system is quirky like that.
