Just went today. It is really great. I'm not one of those people who can eat one bowl after another after another, but I find the service to be really good. In fact, it can't be better! The waiter was very nice and gave us plenty to start off with. When we were halfway through, he ordered us a second batch. By the time the second plates of pasta arrived, we weren't even finished with the first! At the end, he offered us boxes, which surprised me because I thought we couldn't take any out. Of course, we definitely didn't eat $9 of pasta each. Overall, it was a great experience and I would go back again. |

pauljunk, You forget the most important ingredients while doing your thing: your time and your cooking skill 1. It may take you couple hours to go to store (unless you walk or ride bicycle, add gas money on your list!) buy stuffs and you server yourself. 2. Your food may not taste as good (I'm trying to be polite here) Hope you get what message I want to send. Just for your information, I have nothing to do with OG. |

We know fat people exist, all of these type of promotions bring out the 'ohh man, it was packed with these fat asses', 'this one guy ate this much', blah blah blah, who cares, worry about yourself, different people will have different life effects depending on what they do, that's life, and in the end, everyone dies, so quit being insecure about yourself by gossiping about everyone else instead of talking about something that has nothing to do with the deal (or should we start counting and posting about the different races we see, maybe we can have some more stereotypical comments about spending and eating habits) BTW, I don't tip cheaply, but LOL @ everyone talking about all the extra legwork the servers have to do, act like they're the ones cooking, it's not much different when they come by and get you extra breadsticks...not saying you shouldn't appreciate more, but at the same time, let's not act like they built you a pyramid |

i dont really eat much for breakfast, coffee/bar and maybe a box(weight watchers) for lunch since time is of essence. Most days its cook at home. no energy after burning 6 to 6 work and travel. So figure 2 days (max) a week you can (order-in/eat-out in a restaurant) probably in theory 1 weekend at most. i have a toddler. time is precious. While it is a bargain it does not always fit everyones' bill as quality food i'd like to take that (1 to 2) opportunity to savor. lol. Now if you have any stories of how you stuffed a fake gut full of food to go, that would be cool to hear. seriously. jane's addiction stylee. |

Saw an article last week where OG is trying to raise menu prices by 4-5% this year, I wonder how it will affect these promotions. |

I'm impressed that some posters report you can take the leftovers home! I always thought it worked like this with the bowls: Serving 1 - big bowl Serving 2 - smaller bowl Serving 3 - still smaller bowl .... Serving n - 1 noodle! |

During last year's unlimited promotion, our waitress was incredibly nice. After learning that I loved cheese like no other, and trying to provide me with a quick education, she grated up chunks (not a little chunk.. we're talkin their bricks) of cheese into a two go container for me so I could go crazy at home. Then she asked if I wanted a refill on my pasta, I was full.. but she insisted on it and refilled it anyways then immediately put it into a to go box for me as well!! That was my best experience at OG ever! |

That was my best experience at OG ever! What does she care how much $ the company loses on the extra food she sent home with you? She got a bigger tip by giving you a bonus. |

I just saw there unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks went up to $6.95, which is unfortunate! Unless you eat numerous bowls of soup, it really isnt a good deal anymore. I mostly like the salad but I probably wont be going back much anymore, $7.00 for just salad is a bit much in my opinion!! |

I went about 2 months ago and got the never ending pasta plus the italian sausage for something like an extra $1.89. You are supposed to get 2 sausages for first pasta, and a single sausage for each pasta after. I got 2 pastas, then got a pasta to go (waitress knew i was doing that too) and she gave me 2 sausages for each pasta bowl as well. Great service brought a better tip to her, of course. |
