Hello all,

I can't find this anywhere else - Right now there is a sale through 9/30 for the SanDisk® Sansa® e200 Series MP3 Players. This is the line that plays MP3s, Video, and Photos. They are already at least $20.00 off (for each size) on the site, and they are ANOTHER 25% Off with the coupon code: E200Sansa With this sale, it looks like they are cheaper brand new than anywhere else (by a loooooong shot)!

-Comes in 2GB, 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB (Nothing but black, haha). Extra features include the digital FM tuner, voice recording, and photo thumbnail playback. Supports all major audio file formats, including Audible audio files. Expandable with MicroSD card

I know, I know, refurbs of Sansa stuff (and anything else) can be way cheaper. But, me personally, I'll only buy brand new. Not sure why, it leaves me feeling a little more "secure" or something silly like that.

Happy Shopping!

I got a E280 a little bit ago when Buy.com was discounting them heavily for just slightly less then this deal. But really, I love the player and this is a great deal!

Newegg Sansa e280

True! I didn't see that, sorry! I figured Sansa would be the best deal, since they manufacture the thing, haha

It's kinda interesting that their product names are based on size, you know? Like the e260 is 4GB, and the e270 is the same basic thing but 6GB. I guess the player type is the "e200," and then the different sizes are represented by the other numbers... iPod has the same names (like Nano), just different sizes.

They do have different firmware though. Some of them do not integrate the SD Micro card making any music there impossible to play unless you move it into internal memory first.

Rockbox overcomes this but will not work on all models. It also extends SDHC capacity to the lower numbered players which will not read these cards.

My daughter loves her e250 with Rockbox on it.
