List price is highly, highly inflated. This looks like a very nice monochrome laser with great duplexing features. Note that you can only use the scanning capability via the USB -- it will not work through a network.

This is a FAX too... didn't notice that at first. I've got a Canon ImageClass D660 that has been a real workhorse but is becoming dated. Never had a major problem with the 660 and wonder if the quality is the same? Wonder what print engine this has? Canon tech support is rated high on my list as does one of the people on Buy.com.
