Side Note on Price This product has been posted a couple times before on FatWallet at higher prices and were ranked as "hot" every single time. This is by far the cheapest I have seen this item posted at FatWallet, so I hope no one sees this thread as spam (getting tired of people bashing me for my recent deal posts, sorry; I've been posting for years and am not just posting now because of the T-shirt promotion).

True, the final fallout from that deal--in which Dell rec'd an avalanche of orders until they pulled the listing on Sunday--is yet to be known. Some people had their drives shipped yesterday, others have gotten cancellation notices, most orders are scheduled for shipping today.

I do not believe Dell had a "Blowout" sale. The coupon was proably incorrectly applied to this drive. At the order screen, it stated it was for cameras. So except for the incorrect price at Dell, this is great deal. I did order with Dell, have to wait to see if those ship first.

You wont get it at $215 it shows status as on order they don't even have them. Lowest price I can find with it in stock is 276.99 Linked here. I am sure it will not be long before they are at that price point though. I will be happy once 1TB is at $100 price.
I had placed an order yday, talked to Customer service and they said cancel the order and place again to get the lower price as the order is in processing status, so did just that.

Due to market volatility, prices are subject to change quite frequently. As a result, our company will update our prices in accordance to the market value. We do apologize for this and if you have any further questions, feel free to email us back or contact us by phone at 510.897.1890.
I understand market volatility and drastically fluctuating prices over time. I understand price changes over a few months, even 30 days. This is an issue of 5 days and an item that has not yet even been received. I assumed customer satisfaction was important to ZipZoomfly, and in my many years of purchases (which started when the company was named GoogleGear) that had appeared evident.
I'm sorry to see that this is no longer the case. "http://www.ZipZoomfly.com/jsp/Service/PriceAdjust.jsp" cites "confidence in competitiveness of prices" as the reason for a lack of price matching. It would seem that "market volatility" contradicts that.
