this is a 2 rebate offer and requires the purchase of a digital camera. the bottom line is that the cost for the device is $39.78, and it's well worth it.

you can go here to check out the machine, but do NOT put it in your cart LINK

check out the video and you can see how this device even has a tray for CD's and DVD's to print directly onto them.

if you decide to buy it, first go to FatCash for a 4% rebate.

then put 811372630 in the search bar. add the printer to your cart. you can see the rebate forms there for you to download or print.

then add one of the following cameras: 542044144, 542044235, 542044078

when you get the second email asking you to confirm the order by calling in, be sure to tell them to ship the two items together so they will be on the same invoice. if they do ship separately, you can print one online, or get a much more professional one from "live chat" or send them an email requesting one.

that should do it, this seems very easy, and i did this before with epson and it was very easy. i was concerned about the cheap camera i chose, but they don't care, i asked them about it.

printer $129.99 - $5.20 FatCash - $100 rebates = 39.78

Epson has very expensive cartridges and no generics are available (In the US anyway) Toss it when the cartridges are empty.

You mean you've never used any generic Epson cartridge?

I never have. Always paid less than $1.50. The carts for my last Epson printer, an 880, were .79 for black and 1.50 for color until this year. Good thing the carts for my Canon 3000 are only a dollar each.

I still have a NIB BJC-3000.

Have you heard of a little place called eBay?

Speaking of Canon

I am using an S750, it haa printed 1000's of PP packing slips and UPS/DHL/USPS labels, I always print two.
It has printed tons of other stuff to, coupons etc.
Same original print head and dirt cheap carts on eBay.

The cartridges used by the latest Epson photo printers (T078/T077) are still very expensive even in generics. Just check the bay or the usual places (abacus, Meritline, etc) What makes it not worth it in my opinion is the fact that is drinks through them like a drunken man after hang out..... Regardless if you print or not, you'll have to replace every 4-7 weeks. I had an R320 that got for profit AR because of the CD/DVd print capability.... It printed beautiful, but a set of cartridges every month to print only 10-20 DVDs was ridiculous.
