crucial memories are very good but I cannot find any review of this model online.
seems this is the same as CT2KIT25664AA800 if so it is a good deal since Newegg priced at 94.99

Does anyone know the difference from this CT2CP25664AA800 and CT2KIT25664AA800?
there is no CT2CP25664AA800 on crucial website.

I ordered some yesterday before it was posted here and it was free shipping at the time. If you are not in a hurry you may wish to wait and see if it comes back that make the deal a bit warmer.

This is CL=6 memory. I'll pass.

I bought the 2 x 1 GB sticks from Frys several months ago and they were Micron D9 (GMK something, I think).

I am not an overclocker, but I was told by others that they are really nice chips.

Don't know what these chips are, but that set was also rated at 1.8V and CL6 (was told that is simply JDEC? standard).

I think the only difference is the way they are packaged. CP2 comes in blister plastic and KIT comes in a rectangular cardboard box. pl correct me if I am wrong.

Be sure to read up on Crucial memory problems before buying. There have been high numbers of failures with the Ballistix line. I have 4GB of ballistix right here which have been causing lot of problems. I don't know if the problems apply to this product, but save yourself some hassle & do the research.

This is true. My ballistrix tracer has memory errors now after 4 weeks of use. Instead of RMA, i'll just return to vendor. The ones that are problematic are the single sided modules. I have the first batch of ballistix which are double sided and they have been running fine for almost a year now.
