Alamo have some great last minute rates and some crazy Vegas rates right now.

Example: Sept 5th to Sept 10th - $50.48 before taxes after coupon. Use contract ID 7014291 and coupon code AD3829MRB ($25 off weekly). Also try contract ID IG for other last minute specials.

These codes can be used by anyone and Alamo do not require a printout.

Dear: goodnessgracious

First, thanks for the great Alamo code. Lowered my rate from $73 to $62. You do state no paperwork required by Alamo. What or whom does this code belong to ?? Can you advise ? Thanks again !

The contract ID 7014291 is from American Express but you do not have to use an American Express card. It was for a partner special designed to promote the AMEX name. The contract ID IG is a standard last minute special ID - rates are not so good using this during the summer but they are really coming down now. The coupon code is an ecoupon and no copy is required.

I recommend you use the Kiosk to avoid the counter. I have been using these codes for awhile and have had no issues. If you are concerned you can always make a back up res.

Hi. Has anyone tried the contract ID of AMEX above? Will they require any company ID for this? Thanks.

I did create a rez for our trip and did knock $11 off my already decent rate. But per your suggestion I am hanging onto my other with the ACG codes. (ID 641394 Coup Code :AD3694KFR) For this rate (ACG) you normally need the coupon. American Casino Guide is free to signup for certain portions. This includes there Car Rental discounts. You just need to print the .pdf

So if you fear the AMEX code try the ACG version and print their coupon.

THANK YOU! I'm down another $12 for Orlando in October for a midsize SUV -- my goal is under $200, and I'm only a couple bucks over at the moment.

Can you use the online check in with these codes?

Edie: forgot to add this saved about 20% from the next best deal I had been able to find. $117 total for 6 days in Seattle.

First thanks OP for the heads up on the Alamo deep discounts.

I just reserved a car in Las Vegas with Alamo using the $25 weekly ecoupon and the ACG(American Casino Guide)up to 20% off ID code it cut my reservation for 51/2 days to $37 plus tax total of $64.

This took 45% off of my existing Thrifty reservation which was listed as their best deal(bettered their AMEX discount).

My first win in LV and I didn't even enter a casino yet.

Can you please provide details... I tried it both ways (with AMEX&ecoupon and ACG&ecoupon). Prices were around 70 dollars before taxes. After taxes, the price shot up to 100+. Taxes alone were around 30 something bucks.

Traveling Dates: 10/15-10/20

Thanks in advance...

My travel dates are 9/12-9/17. Car p/u is LAS airport.

Used $25 weekly ecoupon(AD6974jdm)
Also used ACG up to 20% off ID code

Car came to $37 base plus $26.80(Taxes and fees) for a total of $63.80.

Everything looks the same. The only thing different are the dates.

Additionally, I wasn't able to choose the least expensive car because it stated that the $25 coupon would not be applied. I did verify that...

What car did you choose?

A compact. I just checked the rates again and they went up since I booked the other day. I'll take it.

Just an update: Alamo have increased their prices but Dollar are running a city special at $8.50 per day for a compact. Use promo code 780 when booking. The weekly rate seems a little higher but that is a good daily rate. Seems to work for the next two weeks. The code also works for midsize, fullsize and minivans but the rates are slightly higher.

For additional dollar codes try www.carrentalsavers.com/dollar

p.s. no requirements for this code - it is a city special.
