Really surprised this hasn't generated more interest. When I went into Office Max yesterday, the fellows in the Impress area were taken aback, and had to go pull a copy of the ad to confirm the sale was for real.

Also surprising is there is no limit.

Not sure what size digital picture works best. Our little tinky digital camera makes about 2 meg size files, but then I run the pictures through enhancement software ("Qimage") that makes 8-9 meg size files. The results are amazing.

Cheapskate that I am, we have several frames bought from Goodwill and garage sales that have been waiting for just this opportunity. These newly framed and matted prints now look very impressive. A down side? Our experiment was with head shots of our daughter and now she sees triple-her-head-size pictures throughout our house. Kind of like that character Rock played in "Game Plan" in which he loves himself so much his place was full of oversized pictures of himself. Our daughter complains also that when people see the pictures they are going to expect her to look that great all the time(a compliment to the quality of the prints).

My Officemax has never heard of this deal, they said it was not in the paper! I looked online for the ad and all through the flyer, couldn't find any $5.99 deal. I went ahead and sent a picture through officemax impress and it went through, the price was $25.00 and I pay for that at the store in Raleigh, NC..... help............

Good deal. Thanks OP.

Any idea where I can get some free hi-res pictures to print posters? I'm looking for pictures of the important places like New York, Manhattan, etc.

Did anyone have luck getting prints on a glossy paper? I got mine on a "normal" paper. They wanted $30 for printing on a glossy paper.
