I bought a couple pair of Columbia's hiking boots last Thanksgiving. Have been wearing a pair almost daily including to work (construction job). I'm tough on shoes. Wore out a set of Timberland boots within a month. The Columbias are getting a little ratty now but they have held up surprisingly well and are very comfortable. Actually one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever had.

Can tell you one thing from my personal experience. Columbia shoes are THE most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. In all respects - fit, sizing and durability. I have a couple I bought just to stash away in storage.

I believe these run a bit large. Trail shoes usually do IMO.
Run large meaning I should buy a smaller size than I normally wear? I find the opposite, that with trail shoes I usually go up half a size or so. I suppose I should just order then and if they don't fit I can send them back.
