No... you aren't wanting fatwallet members to help you. Helping you would be getting you some piece of information that isn't readily available... or something like that. What you are asking for is for someone to do all the work for you and spoon feed you the information.

you are another rude and nasty person, a dime a dozen. your name moreorless0 aptly describes you. I have blocked you.

In case it isn't clear. We're not your slaves, we aren't your minions who look up stuff on google for you.
Continuing to whine and ask for stupid stuff will only get you more responses from "rude and nasty persons."

If you can't read between the lines, let me spell it out for you. If you're not willing to put in the time to do your own research and continue to act like a sniveling, petty tard who doesn't contribute, you're not welcome here. Go troll in the off topic board or to another website.

There is nothing rude nor nasty about telling you to "Google it". If you're too lazy to read two posts above yours, then why should someone else spoonfeed you? Leave this site, it isn't for you anyways.

There is some work in getting a deal. To most people here I believe it's part of the fun or perhaps even a necessity. Other people would rather not be bothered, and that's fine too. Different strokes

To get back on topic, unlike the Nissan thread, I do not see any posts of what steals people have been able to get. If anyone has been able to get the CX-9 with $10K off MSRP (or even better) kindly post. Thanks. The Nissan inventory on some models are dwindling fast and so this may be the next best thing !

52club said:I picked up a Mazda 3 5-door (hatchback) about a year ago. The value of the vehicle was/is great. I've got less than 5k on it so far so I can't comment too much on the quality. I live in an urban area, with a lot of short trips. So far so good, but I'm knocking on wood.

If you are considering picking up a CX-9 frequent a Mazda forum to see if there are any common/known issues with this current version of the CX-9. Even previous years model feedback is alright assuming there wasn't major overhaul done by Mazda.

I've had my Mazda 3 Hatchback for about 2 years now, and still love it.
(Wish I would have waited for the Mazdaspeed 3)
Still, my 3 is fun to drive, comfortable during my commute (75 miles round trip) decent gas mileage, can carry almost anything I try to put in it (including a pedestal dryer!).

The only thing that's quirky is the digital clock sometimes loses time, and the dial on the left side for temperature spins without engaging...I'll get that fixed next time I am at the dealer.

Before this car, I had a 1996 Miata that I adored, but sitting in L.A. traffic during a long commute with a stick shift is no fun.

I got a fatwallet T shirt last week for my excellent post. In fact, you can check out the many helpful posts I put on fatwallet. I have gone out of my way to research things for other members. Check me out. Don't call me an idiot. You are rude and nasty. I have blocked you.

jinx1832 said:The CX-9 is a little too big for me. I am seriously considering the CX-7 due to the $3,500 dealer rebate. Does this car still require premium fuel? According to reviews, the negatives include low gas mileage, premium fuel, and reliability issues. Positives include the exterior (appearance), driving experience. Any FW members care to chime in?

Thanks.

Also you might want to considered using Synthetic motor oil for any turbocharged car. The turbo breaks down regular dino oil really quick in no time therefore shortened the lifespan of the turbo.

Yeah rather than send out a bunch of vehicles that might have issues due to fluids sitting in them at that angle for an extended period they destroyed them. The cars were probally fine but Mazda and the insurance company settled to keep a quality product. At first I though what a bad thing then realized that they did not want to jeopardize thier operation which makes sense.

Mazda did the absolute right thing by destroying all of those cars. No one could predict how exposure to even the mist from the ocean due to a listing ship would affect the paint or other surfaces/components.

Further, as DamnoIT pointed out, the cars basically were tilted at a severe angle for a protracted period of time, and that's not good for internals that require constant lubrication, even when the car is not running.

Mazda really demonstrated a commitment to the consumer and quality control by shredding those cars, as painful financially as it was, rather than sell them (or even risk having them sold in the black market), and then being blamed for things that went wrong.

dude, is google broken?

FYI, the CX9 is mazdas fastests sports car ever, 0-60 in 3.5secs, can seat 8, tow a 20 foot boat, and costs about 20k. after 4.5k rebate, a steak at 15.5, go buy 10 right now.

Hi folks. Someone was asking about specific quotes received, so wanted to provide the following... Been in touch with several dealers in the Houston area, and am having little if any problem getting written quotes for both the CX9 Sport & Touring for $9K off MSRP. Specifically, a blk/blk Sport can be had for $21,885 + TTL. Not too shabby! Tempted to pull the trigger, but the incentives just keep getting sweeter, so will probably sit tight a bit longer...

Picked one up this last weekend, Sport with 2k in options for 9k off MSRP. Thanks for the heads up OP

There's an article in the current Car and Driver about how they disposed of all those cars.
A few of the drivetrains were sent to some vocational schools but everything else was destroyed.
I don't think they salvaged anything.

You know, every manufacturer has has past model with knnow issues that has pissed a lot of owners off. Yes, even Honda and Toyota have had their share of early production run problems. No need to condem lump the whole brand because you had a jacked up car in the past. Car have lots of moving parts... they break.. it happens..just hope you're not the unlucky one and do your maintenece.

Good find for you OP. Right now, if you're in the market for a car there are some great deals to be had. Just remember that huge rebates effect the resale value of that model, so plan on keeping your purchase for a while!

Would you mind posting your driveout price on the sport along with any options that the car has?
Thanks

Sport Trim AWD w/ Bose&Moonroof, Auto dimming/homelink mirror, roof rails, all weather mats, power seat for 25,095 + sales tax on the rebate + 75doc + 120 out of state sale fee + state reg fees ~ effectively a 26.4% discount over MSRP. Edmunds is saying others are paying $32229 - that is skewed.
