I think phrases like "search fatwallet" and "search google" or "search..." ought to be retired, unless it's painfully obvious that searches have been attempted. I mean when someone makes a pretty claim that's slightly against the grain, that person is generally expected to provide one or two examples to prove her case. I hardly think anyone would recognize "search the library" as an adequate substitute for said one or two examples. |
