I've been looking for this 40" Samsung TV for the last few weeks. Last week there was a great deal at Frys for around $1399. I waited too long to catch that one, but today it showed up at FRYS.com for $1277. Seems like a pretty good deal to me ...

The price is not too far from that of Amazon after tax. Still a nice discount from the difference. Thanks Op.

Amazon's price when I checked was $1,529.98. Since I live in VA, I didn't pay tax when I ordered from Frys online. For me, at $1,277 with free shipping, this was a much better deal than ordering from Amazon.

just bought it last week from OneCall for 1549 (free shipping, no tax), plus ms CashBack has 8% back, so worked out to 1425...
set it up last night and the tv is truly stunning...i still cant believe it! watched bee movie (hi-def) and image was truly jaw-dropping...
