There are other sites that offer Cash Back on the ATT Go Phones, too. I think the biggest AT&T CB offer is from DealDigs or ExtraRebates and there's also one from eBates. Too bad AT&T has such lousy customer service. It's almost as if they don't even want people to buy these phones, at least not on-line.

the promotional cards....can they be used anywhere ? seems like you can only pay wireless bills. appreciate the feedback.

The promotional cards are Visa prepaid cards and you can use them ANYWHERE Visa is accepted.
The only problem is that they expire in about 3 months after you get them so you'd better
use it up before you forget about it.

thanks letsgomets. appreciate that. will use money jar and get additional $30 CashBack. this deal is now hot.

So can I use my regular at&t sim card in these go phones ? I can't stand my current at&t phone

Yes, I use my sims card in several to go phones.

It depends which AT&T network you SIM card is on. If it's on the "new AT&T" network (the "orange network"), then it'll probably work. If it's in the "old AT&T (blue)" network then it wouldn't. I just tried my "old network" SIM card on a GoPhone, and it didn't work.

Probably depends on the phone. My old blue sim works fine in my Samsung Go phone.

yeah, my old blue SIM just works on the Samsung A437 without any unlocking.

i still want to unlock it, but supposedly you need a "wrong" SIM card to do so..

it doesn't work in the 2610 though.

Can I use this phone LG CG180 in a sprint service???/

SPRINT, VERIZON USES NON SIM CARD PHONE(CDMA) AND ATT, TMO USE SIM CARDS(GSM). SO UNFORTUNATELY NO, THIS WILL NOT WORK ON SPRINT

My Nokia 2610 arrived today ($9.99; shipped). Replaced the SIM card with my current AT&T SIM card; it works great! Thanks, OP.

I want to use this phone for tmobile network, Can it be unlocked?

They have the Nokia 2610, Nokia 1208, or Motorola V195 for $29.99 - $5 Fat Cash = $24.99; they also include a free $25 refill card. Assuming you can use (or sell) the refill card, that makes the phone free.

Prepaid Phones at T-Mobile.com

Fatwallet thread with T-Mobile deal

Thank you "NoMoneyInMyWallet" for your response.
I usually have plenty of minutes every month so $25 dollars worth of pre-paid is useless for me.
Thats why I dont want to spend 25 more to get the phone for free rather than I prefer to buy it from AT&T if it can be unlocked.

I noticed the LG CG180 at my local WalMart on Sunday (Northridge, CA) for $9.95 out the door. If you don't want to go the rebate route, this may be simpler.
