I just bought this TV, $764.99 + tax after the 10% coupon. The 12% wouldn't work for some reason, the cashier tried a couple times. This is a great looking TV, with the biggest knockback being that the shadow detail is so-so. The review that the OP linked said that this was a good value at $1155 a little less than a year ago, so now that it's at $765 I'd say it's a pretty great deal!
Also as for fit: it would *not* fit in the back of my Mazda3 sedan, which I believe is a little bit roomier than the civic. Take that into consideration.

Not in the back, but in the side door?
And the 12% off coupon is for Best Buy Rewards members.
The coupon did not work in Houston either. It was a sale item/powerzone buy and that is not applicable for the 10 or 12% off. Let me know how you got it to work, b/c I am a rewards member, talked to the manager and still no discount from $849. You can still get 12% off a any other full priced TV though.
At the first BB I went to the TV guy said I couldn't use the coupon. So instead of showing it to them at the second store I just took it to the cashier. Put the TV on a cart and walked to the front. During checkout I gave the coupon to the cashier, she tried to scan it but had to input it manually because of the poor picture quality, I paid and walked out the door. I'm waiting for the labor day sales to see if I should return this or not. If the Samsungs within $200-300 more I might just switch over.
Just want to make buyers aware that they will receive absolutely no support once their 1 year warranty has expired. For some reason the factory _WILL NOT_ do repairs if the TV is outside of the 1 year mark; no way to pay at all. They will recommend you to an "authorized" service center in your area (this also applies to extended warranties). You will call these authorized service centers. Any and all service centers will start ranting about how awful Westinghouse is and how the foreigners swooped in and bought out an American brand. I don't care much about who owns who now, but the "awful part" gets to me; especially when that means these service centers CANNOT get in the required parts to fix the TV. This boggles the mind. Factory will tell you to go to an authorized service center. All of the authorized service centers will tell you they want nothing to do with Westinghouse because they're an impossible company to deal with. "The parts are available" is the standard line fed by Westinghouse. Of course the manager on duty at Westinghouse support got real antsy when I offered to conference in the support center techs.
*sigh* I enjoyed my Westy while it lasted, but when it fizzled out on me 4 weeks after the 1 year mark. I was furious to have to jump through those kinds of hoops for absolutely no resolution.

I'm not quite sure I get what you mean. Usually, when a warranty expires, the company will no longer do repairs (because the warranty expired). That's kind of the point of warranties - if it breaks within this time period, we'll fix it.
