Hey bgl2687, how do you adjust those settings though! I've been trying to do just that. Been searching forums. Looked through both TV's online manuals. Isn't there a service "code" you punch in to get to those settings in the TV? Couldn't find anything along those lines in the TV's menus...just aspect ratios. |

I saw this model at Frackville, PA Sears (Schuylkill Mall) today marked on clearance at like $2000+ (don't remember the exact number). I didn't even bother to try the "my 'friend' bought this for $899, here's a copy of the receipt", I figure there's nooooo way they'd go for it... |

i was at the greensboro nc store and showed the receipt scan. the tv mentioned was 2399 with the current year model for 2199, how stupid is that??? they did make me a great deal on a 50" magnavox plasma for the same price as this (price matched). |

I was wondering if anyone else got lucky and got any deals like G35fan did? I found the Olevia 26 inch but they wanted to charge me double what G35fan paid. (I did buy it) I saw his receipt posted on here and was wondering if anyone else had one. I am trying to price match with the Sears I bought mine but figured it may help if I can prove someone else was lucky enough to get a good price on theirs. Thanks OP and thanks G35 for posting your receipt. |

So it was brand new in the box? that's so cool they took the printed receipt like that and pricematched! Surprised since mine was marked "CLR" on the receipt. Good work! |

I almost got lucky yesterday with your receipt and the 26inc Olevia. The employee had it all ready to go in the register but needed the manager of the dept OK. The manager of the department was lazy and handed his swipe card over the enclosure and the OTHER employee took my receipt to him and asked if he needed to see it. He looked and then said wait a minute. Said he had to check with higher ups and came back about 15 minutes later and said that he can not do it because it was clearance and not local. I did not ge the remote with it but I have a remote to my 42 inch Olevia that works with it. I do not use that remote with the 32 incher because that oneis hooked up to a Cox Cable digital box. I never thought about checking at the Sears Outlet store. that may me on my next agenda. Thanks g35 fan for posting because even though the receipt did not work...I would not have found the cheap 26 in without your post. |

mine was new in the box but it was a clearance as there was a yellow tag on it and it was the last one marked down to 700 as i said.. .so they should of took the receipt.. the sales guy had to also get the managers approval.. to tell you the truth i was suprised also and thought they would say the receipt was fake and doctored or something.. but he admitted that it could have been one of those post sale clearances where the price goes down an extra 10 percent per day till it sells.. was yours that ?? anyway if it was that there is no reason they shouldnt price match and that is their policy.. also he implied that olevia went out of or is going out of bus. and asked if you wanted the warranty.. it was as much as the tv so i said i'd take my chances.. the menu system is a little weird in the tv.. took a while to figure out how to turn off the blue light when off.. too bright in the bedroom. actually it was not a Sears outlet store.. but called |

Just to bring up my experience. I went to the Stockton, CA Sears store on my way back from Sacramento this week and the OP's message is true. What Sears is doing is, there is one TV on display and then they may have a couple of TVs brand new in box. When I went there, I saw one on display and then like 3-4 of them in the box. They were also willing to take it out of the box and hook it up to make sure it works. The TV's they were selling are all last years models. Gammah
