This is YMMV....INSTORE Pickup ONLY

They are gone from the website....read below and check your stores

$1.65 for an 8 pack seems like a fair deal

Model DUR MX2400B8U

*******UPDATE NOTICE 9-5-08*****

Just an FYI....Go to your local store and look. When I tried online for instore pickup several days ago, I got the same error message as everyone else.

I went to my local Circuit City (appleton, WI) today to pick up another order. Just for the Hell of it I went at looked at the "Battery Center" (sorta like a kiosk in the center of an aisle). I looked for the Duracell Ultra AAA 8 packs. Like the previous poster stated, I seen some older looking packages, took one to be scanned...BINGO.....$1.65. I said hang on I want to get a couple more. I proceeded to go back and buy all they had 12 packages. I am telling you its worth a try. These were marked clearance $8.88.

I enclosed a photo of them to give you some idea of what they look like

Exact same batteries atAmazoon for $7.29

not available in grandville, mi

15 packages to get free shipping. Wonder how long it would take me to use 120 batteries??

Whoops, maximum order is 10 packages. Too bad we can't order online and ship. $4 in shipping is cheaper than what the gas would cost me to drive to the nearest CC that has them in stock.

Does anybody know if you order online from the store if they will ship to the store for free?

It is out of stock online....how can you get free shipping if there are none to ship?

There are actually some in my local store but I don't really need them so i'll pass
too bad they are not AA.

NM. It is letting me add them to cart but when I try to pay I get the store pickup only notice. I assumed OP meant OOS online and thought that they had restocked. Gave it a try. Still not a bad deal even with the gas to drive across town.

The store near me lets me add to cart, but when I check out and complete the transaction, system gives error message than none is available.

Out of over 10 stores nearby, only 1 store is available - but it's way too far.

In case any FWers is interested, Fullerton, CA still shows available! Good luck!

Got 10.

Available for pickup in Lakeland, Orlando and Sarasota, FL....

Unfortunately, I am in Tampa!

Is this good deal? Can some one comment?

Showed available, then at checkout, not so much

I agree - EXCEPT - when my device won't use my rechargeables. Plus my grandkids expect me to supply every device they carry over here. And the ARE NOT taking my recharchables home with them

So, I'm ordering 4 packs, to use only when recharge is not an option.

Thanks for putting a word in for ma earth!

You spent $6 on 2 9-volt batteries?
You can get the Panasonic alkaline ones from most supermarkets for $2 or less on sale.

i think WalMart sells ravorac brand battery for 88 cents?

OOS in my area. Thanks anyway OP

How cheap is this? In other deals, how much would this be? Thanks.

These are jesus approved, so your mother earth can suck it.

These are a good deal. Going to pop them into my remote. It won't take rechargeables. Apparently the sizes are slightly off.

Rechargeable batteries will definitely save you some serious cash over their lifetimes, but as far as being more environmentally friendly.... I don't know about that. The biggest impact of disposable batteries is they take up more space in a landfill. To me, that's not an overwhelming environmental concern.

Syracuse NY has them...from the CC page that is! Good deal!

Got the same message. I drove down to the store and I found four very old looking packages on the shelf. They rang up $1.65.

The cashier said "I'm going to get some of those" Too late.

I did notice the 2010 date but only because those dates are usually years out. it doesn't matter.

Thanks OP
