Just tried to buy the DTT901 at three different Radio Shacks in MA. They all said that it was discontinued after only one week in their stores. They are now carrying the Digital Stream 9950. Does anyone have any feedback on that unit? |

DS 9950 is very decent. I'd say it's almost the same as Zenith in terms of features (APT, Favorite). Though it lacks the Zoom per channel that Zenith has. But the remote has bigger buttons, so some might like it better. |

if you want the zenith box and don't mind paying ~$20 after the $40 coupon, Circuit City carries the dtt901's and bestbuy carries the rebranded insignia version. the insignia is identical to the zenith but with a 90day warranty instead of the 1yr. |

Kmarts in MA don't carry it any longer. Replaced by a Magnavox model. |

I found DTT901 and DTX9950 at my local RS. Either one $59.99 I'm still researching to see which one to buy. I found in a blog that DTT901 is available with April and May builds. According to the poster, April builds are the same as DTT900, which has a sound quality issue. The May build is supposed to correct the sound issue. Decisions...decisions. I'm going to KM today to see if I can find any DTT901 with May build. |

I'm going to KM today to see if I can find any DTT901 with May build. The labels on the DTT901 boxes that I recently bought at Radio Shack say "July 2008" just above the serial numbers. I don't have any issues with the sound, but I'm not sure what the "sound issue" was. |

A few days ago I bought a DTT901 at Radio Shack and they charged me $4.20 tax. Today I bought one at Circuit City and they only charged $1.20 tax. Stupid me for buying the first one at Radio Shack, they charged tax on the full price. I could have had $3.00 more in my pocket if I bought both at Circuit City...............Live and learn. The DTT901 is so much better than the Magnavox I have. That was another mistake.

The labels on the DTT901 boxes that I recently bought at Radio Shack say "July 2008" just above the serial numbers. I don't have any issues with the sound, but I'm not sure what the "sound issue" was. The sound issue had to do with the box "clipping" the sound or making it sound low. Unfortunately my KM only carries a Magnavox brand, although they still sell at $49.99 I ended up going to Radio Shack and getting a DTT901 (it was also a July 2008). I ended up paying $20 plus tax on the $59.99 I see more HDTV channels than what I can get from the tuner in my 42" Panasonic. Maybe it's location in the house or the antennas that I am using. The DTT901 is crisp very easy to use. |

I bought Zenith DTT901 from RadioShack and used $10 coupon (Paid $9.99 + Tax). Salesperson was very nice and did not ask any questions. |

Has anyone else had a problem with Radio Shack not accepting the government coupon with the Radio Shack coupon? The store in Noblesville, IN would not accept it. |

Last night I bought this unit using $40 NTIA and $10 off $40 coupon from entertainment book. To my surprise when they rang the barcode for the unit, it automatically deducted $10 (as some kind of gift card).. so the price before all the coupons was 49.99. They did charge me tax. So, the final price was 3.81 I will go there again on the weekend to buy one more unit. |

If your coupons haev already expired and you live in a house (NOT an APT) then you can go up to the govt website for the coupons and order more just by putting in your street address and putting in "1a" on the apartment number portion. I just received two more govt coupons by doing this because mine had expired so this method is tried and true. |
