Read the product reviews on Circuit City and almost everyone complained it was not a converter guess the word adapter wasn't straight forward enough. Just an FYI any converter worth using will be huge and expensive. I lived in the UK for a while and fried about half my stuff on cheap converters.
I bought this a couple of years ago when it was FAR. When using the round pin plug, the adapter is extremely unstable and keeps falling off when plugged into a wall socket.
