I was just looking at MS Live's Cash Back and noticed that 11 stores are now up to 62.5% with 18 more at 50+%. There seems to be a similar/proportional increase in many other stores as well.
Has anyone actually successfully received Cash Back from MSFT? I have a lot pending from eBay and other stores, but no payout yet. However, the 30%+ at Backcountry and Altrec is super hot!
The only thing is some of the CashBack doesn't show up no matter how I pay. I have three orders right now that don't show CashBack. I have to wait a week then email and hope they credit my account. For one I used paypal, but the other two I paid the merchant directly with a credit card after going through the Live link and getting confirmation before the homepage of the merchant loaded. My browser was set to accept cookies. Still a great deal, but kind of a hassle at times. And then some merchants show CashBack right away.

I just got a VERY large check, but it was all "old" Cash Back, made under jellyfish program. So they do pay, as long as transaction was registered

Umm, no, it's anything but a given. This new program is apparently entirely different and if you take the time to read the eBay/Paypal CashBack thread you would see that MANY people have received notification that they are not receiving their CashBack simply because eBay/microsoft "believed" they bought the stuff to resell.
In particular, a guy made a large purchase at Eastbay, and they have since denied his CashBack.
BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS PROGRAM - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
Let me reiterate - purchases at normal retailers can be denied for any reason MS/eBay feels like, and they've already proven it several times. (This is not just applicable to eBay purchases)
Musta been a typo of an actual 6.25% CB, highest I see now is anu-skin and accessory geeks at 40%.
I have $25.50 in my account from a June 17 eBay purchase. You have to ask for your check by signing in and going to "Your Account" at livesearch.
Oops, never mind. That was only the "A" section.

still some of these CashBack % are off the charts.
If you consider buying lots of stuff using the CashBack because of the great percentages off abuse, then whatever.
Go ahead, buy lots of stuff at these "awesome" percentages off, and then wonder later when they don't pay if all they were trying to do was write sucker on your account.
Just renewed a mag from magazine.com (that I got on the 70% CB deal). Thank OP!
Also, if you pay Magazines.com with PayPal, I imagine the Uniterupted Subscription Service (where they auto-renew for you) is a non-issue since they have no way to bill you directly. Thoughts?
I have tried to use the FootLocker 20% off code LKS18FW2and can't find a place to enter it. Am I looking in the wrong places or can't you use a code with live.com at FootLocker?
Yes, I read this thread and don't see this question covered, but I might be partially blind...you never know!!

From what I've heard, codes invalidate the Cash Back.

Don't use a coupon if you're using live.com Cash Back. Against their terms and 45 > 20

eBay purchase from the early MS Cash Back offers are being transferred to my PayPal account within 14 days MS says. We'll see! If the CashBack comes through hitch-free, Ill be shopping with MS more often. at these offers it is tough to pass up!

Isles,
You are right, they don't have your CC info and can't bill Paypal. Although, Magazines.com is quite reputable and you can simply call them and deactivate that choice after an order OR just choose it as a gift sub and it doesn't generate the auto renewal feature.
crappy thing about Eastbay is that going through live search results in the checkout page not allowing other discount/free shipping codes. so in the end (since they commonly have 20%/free ship codes) you either forgo the Ca$hBack and get a smaller discount NOW or pay more now and HOPE that the Ca$h Back goes through. and at a whoppin 45% I'd have to imagine MS and Eastbay are going to be looking for any reason under the sun to screw you on that ca$hback amount
anyone know how to view the details of the CashBack for a particular store? for example Sears shows as 5% - 20% on qualifying purchases well 5% isn't bad but say 20% on a $1K appliance would be pretty sweet and having a purchase not "qualify" at all would just plain suck

I only got 6% back when I purchased a range and refrigerator from Sears.com
A simple way to check is go to live.com and than click CashBack. Search what you're looking for (kenmore range) and it'll list a whole bunch of products. Click compare prices and it'll tell you exactly how much you'll get back.
Do you have to pay with Paypal, like the eBay deal?
And two, what's a "qualifying purchase?" When I click to a merchant's website via Livesearch, a message says, "Your CashBack is active. Thanks xxx@hotmail.com, you'll earn 62.5% CashBack on qualifying purchases during this visit to Magazines.com. " There is also a small note that says, "You will not see the CashBack on the checkout page."
How do I know what I'm buying is a qualifying purchase?

Was just going to ask the same question... I don't want to get scammed here.

1) You can use any form of payment. That will not impact your Cash Back (Paypal, credit card, Gift card).
2. Magazines.com--everything EXCEPT gift cards to the merchant qualifies as a purchase.
3. This is been one merchant most have reported excellent success with. CashBack shows up within 15 minutes after you checkout. If it doesn't show up in a couple of days max, you can simply call mags.com and cancel your order and there's no loss to you.

According to the FAQ, paying with credit cards or traditional methods is best bet so far to make sure they can accurately note the purchase. The first deal was partnered with Paypal/eBay which would make sense to use Paypal to pay for things.
There is nothing on there that states what doesn't qualify so it's pretty much their own discretion...I would assume the typical not applicable on giftcards would apply as not qualifying.

To my knowledge, there is no "details" page for individual stores. Instead, to see the specific discount assigned to a particular item, you have to first search for THAT SPECIFIC ITEM using LiveSearch; it will pull up a list of participating stores selling that item (including Sears in your case), and THAT listing will show you how much of a discount LS c@shback is providing. You then follow that link straight to the item at the participating store.
Doing it this way also guarantees that you've made a "qualifying purchase." Alternatively you could go to the store, put the item in your cart, then open a separate browser window, load LiveSearch, and follow it's store link to get back to the cart with your item already in it (which I have done many times successfully), but the first way gives you a little piece of mind that you should definitely get the c@shback discount.
