Technically, you have 2 reviews now.

Does it work for desktop with Win2000XP system? Thanks!
back to $14.99 BUT: I got mine in the mail and it works very well. My router is upstairs and I plugged this into a desktop inside a computer desk in the basement. No drops, strong signal. Glad I bought a spare, thanks again OP!

Does anyone knows where I can download the drivers from? My CD seems to have some problems and shows up as blank. Try google, but nothing really comes up. Thanks.

Thanks.Download this file, decompress it (pwd: ushawk), mount it with a virtual cd/dvd-rom emulator (such as DAEMON Tools Lite) or burn the ISO to CD.
Why does Meritline charge tax in MA, if their operations are out of CA?

i've been using a pci express version of this inside my desktop for over 2 years and it works really really well. i have no complaints. this price is absolutely ridiculous. good find OP.
I bought one of these for $10 a couple months ago. I finally started using it recently, and it's working great. Very good deal, IMO. This worked in my Win XP system without me needing to use the included driver disc, so it was completely painless to "install."
ETA: I'm getting a pretty weak signal from this, but it's sufficient for my needs. It doesn't have the range of my old Linksys PCI adapter.
802.11g Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter, REALTEK 8187 Chipset, Support Vista X64, Retail Pack, Item Number: 216-215-001
Back to 9.99 and FS with coupon code HW2162155OFF. Review says it works with Ubuntu so I may be in for 1.
"Cheap way to get the Realtek 8187 into your machine. Usb dongle is smaller than most and fits nicely into cramped areas behind the machine. Immediately recognized by the (Ubuntu) Linux kernel, so nothing resembling a driver was needed. Decent signal stren"
Anyone know of any better deal on a 802.11g Wireless USB2 Adapter that works with Ubuntu?
Sigh ... looks like the USB adapter days of $5 AR or FAR are gone (used to be the case couple of years back). Not sure what happened? Did these guys drop production or something? This is the best price I could find. Thanks OP.

I've never seen USB wireless adaptors for $5 or FAR. This is indeed the cheapest price that I know of. Plus, the adaptors work pretty good.
