Was looking for a good performance heat pipe style cooler. Microcenter's web site shows the Vanquiser for $9.99, but indicates OOS at the Duluth, GA store. Went to the store, found at least a half dozen of them at various places (on shelves with other fan/cooling products, and in clearance bins). They are marked $24.99, no indication of sale price. Rings up at $9.99.
These are highly rated among air cooled solutions for CPU heat removal. At ten bucks, a deal.
Also, there were a lot of unadvertised motherboards on clearance, typically $20 to $40 off regular price. ASUS, ECS, Giga, etc. Back near the laptop displays, on the bottom shelf.

Follow up: Got this installed. It knocked 2 degrees C. off my Core 2 Duo E8400 idle temps, and 6 degrees C. off the peak temps. It's big, and the install is a little bit of a challenge, but it's a well made product. It's also very quiet. My hard drive is running a couple of degrees cooler, too, probably because of the increased airflow from the front of the case to the back. Hard to beat for 10 bucks.
This has been posted on other deal sites for over a week. This was also online and I ordered 3 of these. They went out of stock but I just received an email that they've been shipped.
