Keep in mind that this is a single cartridge printer, with the option of adding black (for more than the printer costs).

I've seen a $20 lexmark printer in action before and wasn't impressed. Poor print quality and it uses the color cartridge to print black text (which is dark grey at best) unless you get the actual black cartridge.
