On a side note, does anyone not like how the AE t-shirts are made/fit now? I've bought a couple in the past couple of months, and they just seem to be cheaply made and don't really fit right on me. AE t-shirts in the past have fit me well, but now it's almost to the point where I can't buy them
Tmoney - I do agree on the T-shirts. I really like the babydoll style they had this year but they are pilling something awful and they have been thru the wash less than five times. I stuck with all jeans this time.
Coupon code just worked for me and got more than 40% off on a few graphic tees. WHoo Hoo!!!

Spend over $100 or add any Aerie bra to your order and get free shipping. Just return the things you dont want to keep to the store. The Aeria bra actually comes with a free return shipping label, as well.
wow 40% off? thats unheard of! gonna go try some clothes on for size in about an hour so i'll know which size to buy. I originally bought a Small and Medium of every shirt I wanted but I figured I'd save myself the embarassment of returning 1/2 my order later

AE RIPPED me off...I tried the coupon code from 2 weeks ago (on a previous post) and it didn't work (which I later realized was because I had en extra "SPACEBAR" at the end. I called and the lady said I could order for the full price now and she would refund me the value of the coupon within a few days. I never got the refund, then called them. They said the request was denied by "corporate" because "I placed the order using a rep. on the phone rather than online". They said the lady that promised me my coupon has to get it approved by corporate, and it was denied. Now I plan on returning everything to the store. DONT TRUST AE, THEY ARE LIARS
Right when I was ready to check out AE.com took down the 40% off discount!!!! Luckily I had doubled check to confirm before clicking purchase....The 40% off is DEAD!!!!!! Be CAREFUL!
I initially got an error saying I had already applied the discount. I logged out, closed the browser window and started over, going thru the FW link. The 40% worked for me.
40% discount code still works. But goes off the session if you make any changes to the bag.. try to add it again..thats all

Don't use Firefox... 40% coupon worked fine in IE. If you use Firefox, it'll give you that "Missing order number" nonsense...

i used FireFox 3 and placed 2 orders using the 40% off no problem both times...i forgot to look at the coats on my first order, so placed a 2nd one.

ordered about 60 bucks worth of clothing through paypal. received a confirmation email from ae.com saying that the total was around 100 (40% discount was not applied). paypal account says that i still only paid the 60. i think i'm gonna get a payment authorization failure email soon.
Remember, if you buy Tshirts AND jeans, it will take the 50% off the shirts since they cost less. I had to order my jeans in one order and Ts in the next.

Ugg now i see what ya mean, cost me another 12 bucks placing it in one order because it charged full price for the jeans minus 40%.. Still not bad, but thats another shirt or so extra. Time to make a call thanks for catching that.

Just finished my order. 2 $25 Tee's for $20 after 50% off and 40% code. I dont know why it doesn't for you.
wow, 4 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of sandals, and a shirt only came to 118 with tax and shipping included. what a steal. and these will just be beat them up jeans and sandals. Thanks op.

THE 40% IS ALIVE AS OF 6:15pm EASTERN. I Just placed an order and the 40% discount DOES still work.
And if AE did take off the discount, how is that NEG for OP?
