DANE ELEC

$4MIR link at product listing. Shows adapter with card but isn't clear if it's included. SO YMMV on the adapter

If its $5.49 "shipped" then why am I paying $9.49?......red.

it says a/mir, you're joking Onion. Cmon, even says in the OP the MIR form is at the link!

It includes the adapter. The adapter is pictured on Buy.com and searching the model number on Amazon, it indicates the adapter is included.

Amazon

I know. But its still $9.49 shipped and $5.49 AR. When one puts the work "shipped" in front of a price it usually denotes the total price that is needed to be paid up front with no hidden tricks like rebates.

Sometimes it just means "price including shipping". Helps to fend off those "shipping kills the deal" comments.

Really semantics here, but to be fair I changed the title as you suggested.

It's certainly not worth a negative rating (unless you're particularly anal), but it's also not just semantics. $x.xx shipped means $x.xx shipped, the amount you pay to get it sent.
EDIT: Then again, it's been changed and I didn't see it before, so maybe I've missed what's actually being argued about..

Okay deal. If you had a Fry's near you, they had Kingston 2GB uSD + both mini+reg SD adapters AND USB adapter all for $5.99 AR, $4.99 if you could order online and select in-store pickup. I've seen dane elec before, but not familiar with whether it's a quality product or not so hard to compare to similar deal for a Kingston product.

Dane-Elec is the company that does not honor any kind of warranty. They simply never pick up the phone (call goes straight to voicemail) and never reply to e-mails or voicemails. And their cards are crap. I had 2 of their SD cards die, one within 30 days of purchase, so i was able to return to the store and another 4gb SD died about 60 days and I'm still waiting for them to stand back for their product. Beware and always stay away from Dane-Elec.
