I bought the 8 cup version of the same when it was on sale with rebate from Newegg , The main container inside non-stick coating is comming off within one month use .. we are very care full and we only use wooden/soft nylon rice spoon to take rice out of it .. but quality of te coating is really bad .. also its a health hazards as those coating contains toxic chemical ..
Don't buy it ..

lol I can't trust these cheapass rice cookers now a days, sure teflon coating is supposedly inert, who knows what else is in this crap

My parents have an old Tatung rice cooker, all metal, older than I am. Still works.

Not sure about these new rice cookers. Will have to see one in person first. Any comments from people who bought one?
