On sale today at J&R for $160 (normally $200), I was about to buy from them since I have been wanting one of these purifiers for a long time (QUIET, produces almost no draft, and awesome CADR ratings).

Then I noticed that Allergy Buyers Club has them as well, for $199, but they also give you an $80 carbon filter with it (limited time apparently)!

Add the current 5% coupon code "tensummer" plus 4% FW Cash Back, and you have a great deal on this awesome unit! (9% discount, plus $80 filter for free)

For those not understanding why this is a good deal, this is like the Porsche of air cleaners.

Note this is for SMALL rooms only. They have models for larger spaces of course, and of course more $$$. 200 sq ft tops. (Buying this for my 4 yr old's room)

Ack, sorry, I made a mistake in my first post. It was never $180 at Allergy Buyers Club - I just corrected that. I have no idea where that number came from. It's $199, minus the 5% discount and the 4% FWCB (plus the free $80 filter). Total charged to my card including shipping was $179, which is correct (after coupon but before FWCB).

The best you could do if you tried to buy this elsewhere (and you would have to buy this weekend, from J&R), would be their current $160 sale for the unit, but then tack on $80 for the extra filter (which you will be buying anyway). So $280 normally, $240 on sale this weekend at J&R or $173 at Allergy Buyers.

No brainer!

That one actually comes with different filters than the deal I posted. If you smoke, you would definitely want that. But the free filter in the original link is for the CARBON filter which is $80 (also on the same page you linked to for $80). Original deal also comes with two filters, but they are the HEPASilent instead of the filter for smokers.

Kind of confusing actually, you can use custom filters based on your needs - smoking, silentHEPA and one more I think. TWO of those normal filters come with each unit (and I think they are around $50 normally), but again, the free EXTRA filter that comes with the original deal is the carbon filter which is $80 (so you are actually getting three filters total with original deal).

Update:

Tricky marketing by ABC...there was no "bonus/free" filter. They only sent me what was in the normal retail box, which includes the unit itself, with the filter already installed, and then another filter in the box. Very misleading the way they advertised it imo (considering all the other retailers sell it the same way, but without insinuating you are getting an ADDITIONAL filter.

Sorry about that guys and gals (though the J&R deal @ $160 + FW CB was hot at the time...now back to normal price)
