I say it's not a bad deal if you are in a market for a new bimmer.

If your husband wants a BMW, watch out because BMW (Be My Wife) is for men seeking women ...

maybe it's cuz the current wife got fuglier or aint putting out no more and he's seeking to upgrade to a newer more beautiful vehicle.

just a note financially: over 60% of new bimmers are leased. that's a ticking time bomb for residuals when the glut of used and abused off-lease comes to the market in the future.

so it might be smarter financially to lease now (based on artificially high residuals which will lower your lease) than to buy and be stuck with an asset that rapidly depreciates.

Good point, thanks for bringing that to light.

Why hasn't this happened already? Surely BMW has been leasing for years.

Or buy a used BMW after it has come off it's lease and depreciated a bit and save a bunch.

Because, importantly, we are coming out of an era where Americans far overspent based on a temporary, fictitious increase in property values that spurred over-confidence.

the bimmers are nice. people stereotype bimmer drivers though. its always like that, a few can ruin it for the rest.

i would rather pick the new A4 over the current bimmer but at 0% and hopefully under invoice, i just might bite.....

They have been leasing for years and a have a very strong CPO program. BMW cars also retain their values better than most other cars.

Better yet, wait 20 years and get it for free from your uncle who is too greedy to pay to have it towed to a junk yard
